Job summary

Shea Concrete is hiring a Quality Control (QC) Technician for its year‑round precast concrete plants in Amesbury, MA and Wilmington, MA. The role focuses on product testing and executing QC processes during production of precast pours.

Qualifications

• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 certification preferred but not required.
• NPCA PQS Training preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old per federal guidelines.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to read blueprints and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ACI concrete field tests
• Responsible for quality control inspections in manufacturing plant
• Inspect product after removed from forms (Post-Pour)
• Notifies Production Supervisor if deficiencies are found.
• Perform and/or schedule repairs on products as needed.
• Expected to maintain knowledge of precast plant techniques and procedures.
• May assist with precast production operation as needed.
