Job summary

Request Foods is hiring a Quality Control Technician - Pre-op for the 3rd shift in Holland, Michigan. The role focuses on pre-operational testing, GMP monitoring, and ensuring packaging parameters meet standards.

You will work with Maintenance and Sanitation teams, performing pump inspections and daily thermometer calibrations while documenting all activities per procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily kitchen pre-operational testing.
• Inspect machines and equipment with Maintenance.
• Coordinate communication between the QS department, Maintenance and Sanitation departments.
• GMP monitoring.
• Enforce pre-operational procedures.
• Perform pump inspections in conjunction with the Maintenance department.
• Perform weekly facilities audits (Glass Audit, CIP Water Samples, Sort Belt/Magnet Checks, etc.).
• Perform QC Thermometer calibrations on a daily basis.
• Monitor and verify correct packaging area parameters are met (i.e. code dates, packaging, labels, etc.).
• All duties include detailed and accurate information tracking and documentation per standardized procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Rate: $24.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications/ Education/ Skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; or experience as a Quality Control/ Assurance position in the food industry.
