Job summary

Atrium in New Jersey seeks a Quality Control Technician (Personal Care) to join its team and support product quality initiatives. You will conduct routine testing, inspections, and documentation to ensure formulations meet specifications in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in beauty/CPG, hands-on testing experience, strong attention to detail, and solid Excel and communication skills. Growth in a science-driven QA culture is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of QC/testing experience, preferably in beauty/CPG.
• Experience performing physical and analytical testing on products/materials.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing in a small team.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess color, odor, appearance, and organoleptic qualities to ensure consistency.
• Perform inspections on raw materials and finished goods against specs.
• Conduct viscosity, pH, density, DSC, melting point, and related tests.
• Create, maintain, and distribute quality documentation and forms.
• Support QMS activities and quality qualification processes.
