Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in beauty or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
• Experience performing physical and analytical testing on products or materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business software.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team environment.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess color, odor, appearance and organoleptic qualities for product consistency.
• Perform quality inspections on raw materials, finished goods, and retained samples.
• Conduct viscosity and pH measurements, density, DSC, melting point, drop test, graph test, fluidity, total solids, and water bath analyses.
• Create, maintain, and distribute quality documentation, reports, and forms.
• Support quality management system (QMS) activities and quality qualification processes.

Position Overview

The Quality Control Technician (Personal Care) will support product quality initiatives and ensure compliance with established specifications. Responsibilities Of The Quality Control Technician (Personal Care)

• Experience supporting product inspections, product releases, and sample management activities.
• Understanding of laboratory testing methods related to formulation and product quality evaluation.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or another related scientific discipline is required.
