LKQ Corporation is hiring a Quality Control Technician to ensure parts meet quality standards and are safely prepared for shipment. This on-site role involves cleaning, inspecting, and packaging parts, and coordinating with sales reps on discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience. The position requires physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to read part descriptions.
• Able to identify most car parts by sight and description.
• Work safely in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean parts by buffing small parts, power washing drive train, and washing panels.
• Inspect parts to ensure description and quality match inventory.
• Communicate discrepancies with sales reps via email or phone.
• Prepare parts for shipment with bubble wrap and boxes.
• Load semi-trailers and organize racks for shipment using a forklift.
