Qualifications

• 1 year of lab experience or education in chemistry lab
• Must be able to do basic math
• Walking, pushing, pulling, stretching, and lifting 50 lbs
• Experience with shiftwork

Responsibilities

• Performs testing of finished goods and in-process samples to ensure quality
• Determine how to correct out-of-spec materials and direct production to make adjustments
• Ensure safe lab practices
• Testing requirements include viscosities, densities, gel times, etc.
• Prepares and tests samples for advanced testing (peel and shear)
• Maintains daily quality log and sample retain room
• Interprets inspection and tagging instructions
• Supports production for process testing
• General housekeeping of QC Lab and equipment
• Authors test procedures and work instructions
• Initiates non-conformance and trial material reporting
• Supports customer service for complaint investigations
• Supports R&D development testing
• Monitor lab equipment calibration testing
