Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing seeks a Quality Control Technician for a Virginia Beach, VA manufacturing client. This permanent role focuses on inspecting products in production, verifying conformance to engineering drawings and customer specs, and logging defects per ASC procedures on a typical M-F shift.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in manufacturing QC, familiarity with ISO processes, and the ability to support ongoing ISO certification projects while following SOPs and performing root-cause

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Quality Control experience inspecting products in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Knowledge of welding and Electrical standards (Preferred)
• Familiar with ISO processes and audit compliances
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to Noise, Dust, Heat, Electrical, Moving Machinery on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections while items are in production, to verify that work is being completed accurately and in accordance with engineering drawings.
• Use checklists to ensure the completed product has been manufactured in accordance with customer specifications.
• Document and log any quality defects found according to ASC procedures.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed on the production floor.
• Alert Quality Manager when deviation from SOPs is observed.
• Work with Quality Manager to complete any projects needed for continued ISO certification.
• Assist in complaint evaluations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Suggest any tracking mechanisms that may improve manufacturing processes.
• Work with Quality Manager to perform root causes analyses, and then implement subsequent
