HII's Newport News Shipbuilding division is seeking a QA professional to perform analyses, inspections and tests of materials and finished products to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance. You will monitor quality statistics, review production records and conduct non-conformance tests, contributing to certification and continuous improvement across manufacturing environments within the U.S.

Navy shipbuilding context.

Competenze

• Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
• Equivalents: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; High School/GED with 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience; High School/GED with 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience.

Mansioni

• Performs analyses, inspections and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Performs qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus.
• Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports; reviews production records for conformance to procedures; conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or tested product.
