Job summary

United Precision Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to ensure aerospace components meet tight tolerances and compliance standards. You will perform inspections, mentor technicians, and help maintain traceability in a fast-paced, on‑site facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years in manufacturing, quality, metrology, or engineering.
• Basic math, measurement and computer skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process and finished products with precision tools.
• Apply GD&T to verify conformance to drawings and specs.
• Read blueprints, CAD models, and docs to determine inspection requirements.
• Document results per AS9100 and defense standards.
• Assist with investigations and corrective actions using root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with eng and production to resolve nonconformances.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance inspection accuracy.
• Support quality department duties as needed.
