The incumbent will verify calibration of gauges and scales, maintain inspection records, and participate in safety and quality meetings. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with specialized inspection training.
• Minimum 1 year inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, interpret and document measurements and data.
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Communicate issues to shift supervisors regarding defects.
• Record data using Datamyte or dimensional sheets.
• Verify equipment operation and report problems to supervision.
