Job summary

MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in construction chemicals and building materials, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to test raw materials and finished products, set up experiments, and support production quality goals.

Based in Garland, TX, the role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; the position offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industry experience within chemicals and/or manufacturing strongly preferred
• You should be proficient and comfortable with computers.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility for overtime and shift hours required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform various tests samples on raw materials and finished products.
• Identify and investigate abnormal test results, conducting root cause analysis.
• Prepare and record documents that report the results of lab work.
• Work closely with local operations with a specific emphasis in supporting the production leadership teams.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Perform additional duties as required.
