Job summary

MAPEI Corporation is seeking a Production Operator to operate the production line, monitor machinery, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will weigh and prepare ingredients, move materials, and maintain accurate records, contributing to efficient workflow in the plant.

The role offers base pay up to $19/hour with additional shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ health and financial security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand for extended periods; overtime and shift hours required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to produce products according to production specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor weights and operating specifications on the production line, perform adjustments as needed.
• Weigh and prepare ingredients as per production schedules and instructions.
• Accurately measure and handle ingredients following safety and quality standards.
• Use scales, pumps, hand scoops, and containers for precise measurements.
• Transfer raw materials or finished products within the facility.
• Prepare packaging, label containers, and palletize products.
• Keep accurate records in written and electronic formats.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including lift trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
