Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a maintenance associate in San Francisco, CA to perform sampling and testing for quality control and to conduct preventative maintenance on fueling equipment at storage facilities. You will complete inspections, log fuel transactions, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

The role requires basic math, English proficiency, and a valid US driver’s license, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or 12 months related experience or equivalent
• CDL or Oil & Gas experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to read/write/speak English; read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports; computer literate
• Must perform preventative maintenance including minor pump/valve repairs, oil changes, greasing
• Must pass pre-employment testing (color vision test, drug test, background check) and obtain US Customs seal
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standards
• Monitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state, and federal safe work policies/procedures
• Makes required log entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance
• Comply with the station's attendance/tardiness standards
• Assures adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
