Job summary

TPi Arcade, LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to support manufacturing with rigorous First Article Inspections and real-time X-ray analysis. You will collect data, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams to meet strict quality objectives.

The role requires inspection of first pieces, calibration of QC tools, and close collaboration with suppliers. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or QA certification (or 2+ years in QC).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or QA certification; or 2+ years QC in manufacturing.
• Formal training in blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC, auditing, quality systems.
• Ability to setup and operate QC equipment (CMM, lab equipment, real-time x-ray).
• Strong math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to read a wide variety of technical documents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Inspections.
• Data collection, analysis and feedback for corrective action, quality improvement, education, and training.
• Maintain corrective action system.
• Calibrate and analyze gages and equipment for wear and defects as defined by QMS.
• Interface with managers/supervisors regarding quality issues.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Inspect features on cast and machined 1st pieces for conformance to drawings.
• Operate real-time x-ray machine.
• Perform root cause analysis to address underlying causes.
• Travel to suppliers for source inspections and problem solving.
• Keep organized records and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
