McColm issues this Call for CVs for qualified Quality Control Technician (QCT) candidates under an anticipated contract with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Artesia, NM. The position description below details the anticipated duties and qualifications of the position, contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and evaluations of contract performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit detailed monthly quality control reports to government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams to resolve performance issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor adherence to contract terms, safety protocols, and federal policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, corrective actions, and compliance-related activities.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all personnel are trained in quality assurance and contract compliance standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience at FLETC Artesia, or another FLETC location is highly desired.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in quality control or lead technician role, utilizing formal quality control systems.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal contract compliance and performance standards.
  • Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to quality control processes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and government stakeholders.
