Job summary

Creative Polymer Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Birmingham, AL to support continuous improvement by analyzing product quality and data. You will conduct routine and non-routine chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring compliance with SOPs, GLPs, and ISO standards.

You will prepare reagents, document results, and help identify trends through SPC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years in a lab, manufacturing, or quality control preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents, solutions, and standards for testing.
• Evaluate raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
• Follow SOPs and GLPs to ensure accurate test results.
• Record and document analytical data per quality standards.
• Support QMS and ISO requirements for compliance.
• Participate in Root Cause/CAPA activities and drive improvements.
• Prepare test reports for QC supervisor or manager review.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Monitor quality data using SPC to identify trends and opportunities.
