Job summary

Viking Forge is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Technician on-site in Streetsboro, OH. You will measure process performance with gages, surface plates, measurement instruments, and CMM, record data, and communicate with press line supervisors to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, following work instructions, and supporting supervision to troubleshoot process issues.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 5-panel drug screen (urine or saliva) via staffing company.
• Reliable transportation.
• Mandatory company orientation.
• Safety training completion.
• Policy & Procedure adherence.
• Must pass a 9-panel drug screen upon direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Measure process performance using gages, surface plates, measurement instruments and CMM.
• Record data and document results.
• Communicate to press line and supervisors.
• Assist supervision in troubleshooting process problems.
• Maintain clean, organized work area(s).
• Determine whether a process is in statistical control by analyzing data patterns and take actions.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
