The Willamette Valley Co Llc in Pineville, LA is seeking a Quality Control professional to perform testing and data collection on incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications before release to packaging.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and have at least 2 years in a chemical lab. The role is full-time in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to support R&D and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years related chemical lab experience.
• Ability to perform QC testing and data entry accurately.

Responsabilités

• Perform tests on every batch produced and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain QC data in computer and log book.
• Use approved materials for packaging and dispose of non-conforming materials.
• Re-test returned products and notify appropriate personnel promptly.
• Maintain laboratory testing apparatus and perform periodic calibration checks.
• Coordinate with repair personnel or vendors for equipment service.
• Assist QC manager with root cause analyses of quality failures.
• Assist in determining pre-production raw material adjustments to keep specs.
• Keep batch retains organized and close production tickets in IFS.
• Issue Certificates of Analysis to customers.
• Prepare monthly Quality Summary Reports.
• Assist R&D with developmental products and other projects.
• Unload raw materials from railcars.
