We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our customer, County Ready Mix in Custer, WI.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the production of materials and products.
• Record observations and recommend process improvements.
• Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry.
• Collaborate with production to identify and resolve concrete performance issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment through proper housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor work conditions.
• Work near moving machinery and equipment.
• Work in noisy environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting of 10-40 pounds.
• Occasional lifting over 40 pounds.
• Standing, walking, climbing, squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder level.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in concrete plant operations or quality control is highly desired.
• Ability to interpret job specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong math skills.
• Willingness to train and obtain technical certifications.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience in construction or building materials industry is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
