Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Kentucky is seeking a QC Technician to ensure quality product is produced daily and to meet customer expectations. You will work closely with the Plant Engineer, Sales, and Production, performing inspections and testing across the production process with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-pour inspections, testing concrete and materials, leading QC meetings, organizing documentation, and training plant staff on concrete technology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry preferred.
• ACI Certification preferred, or required to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Must be able to get any required certifications within 1 year.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Pour inspections on product prior to pouring (reinforcing, insert and hole locations, etc).
• Perform Post-Pour inspections on product ensuring it is ready for the customer.
• Represent the customer inside our factory.
• Test Concrete and raw materials as needed.
• Lead QC meetings and follow up on Corrective Actions.
• Organize all documentation.
• Coordinate with production on all schedule changes and errors.
• Assist in conducting QA Audits.
• Train plant employees on concrete technology and QC requirements.
