Job summary

County Materials in Oconomowoc, WI is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards through inspections, tests, and measurements.

The successful candidate will document findings, identify defects, and collaborate with production to resolve quality issues, while maintaining a safe, organized workplace and clear communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not required.
• Concrete plant and/or quality control experience highly desired.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during production of materials and products
• Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry
• Regularly observes the production process, including setup, casting, stripping, and storage of product
• Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance
• Manage housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
