Job summary

County Materials in Astatula, FL is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards by performing inspections, tests, and measurements throughout the production process.

You will document findings, identify defects, and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and maintain consistent product quality, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication as essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or building materials preferred.
• Concrete plant and QC experience desired.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.
• Solid math aptitude.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs QC inspections, checks, and tests during production of materials and products.
• Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may recommend process improvements.
• Familiar with standard practices in the concrete industry.
• Monitors the production process including setup, casting, stripping, and storage.
• Collaborates with production to resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance.
• Maintains housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
