Job summary

Sterling Site Access Solutions LLC seeks a Quality Control Technician to support the CLT manufacturing department in Lufkin, TX. You will ensure product attributes are recorded and communicated, supporting Sterling’s commitment to quality and safety on the production floor.

The role requires 1 year in a high-volume environment and 3+ years in QC is preferred, with Lean/5S expertise and strong measurement skills. On-site full-time position with comprehensive benefits and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a high-volume, high-automation manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality control preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing related field preferred.
• Experience in 5S and Lean manufacturing (Toyota Production System).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing of CLT products (ASTM D-905 Shear Block and AITC T110 Delamination).
• Create small-scale CLT builds and run product testing.
• Organize and conduct field testing and analysis of product as needed.
• Perform SPC and analyze data from CLT processes and incoming inspection.
• Collaborate with CLT manager and department leads to improve plant floor organization.
