Job summary

Central Supply Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to sample and test aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and masonry products to ensure compliance with industry and project specifications. This role also supports production operations and offers opportunities to learn concrete batching, equipment operation, and quality control processes.

You will work with plant personnel, management, contractors, and inspectors, maintain safety and quality, and wear PPE while supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in concrete, aggregates, or quality control preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate a ¾-ton pickup truck with a 20-foot trailer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and testing of aggregates, concrete, and masonry products.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Document and communicate test results accurately and timely.
• Evaluate results and assist in resolving quality concerns.
• Coordinate with plant personnel, management, contractors, and inspectors.
• Support ready-mix operations and production activities as needed.
• Learn and operate loaders, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Wear and maintain required PPE.
• Work flexible schedules, including overtime and occasional night work.

Quality Control Technician

Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling and testing aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and concrete masonry products to ensure compliance with industry and project specifications. This position also supports production operations and requires a willingness to learn concrete batching, equipment operation, and quality control processes.

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate a ¾-ton pickup truck with a 20-foot trailer preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and industrial environments.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
