Job summary

The Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join the Operations Team. You will perform quality control functions, inventory control, and audits to ensure product integrity and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities include testing syrup and water, material inventory, sanitation evaluations, equipment setup and maintenance, and calibration oversight. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, minimum.
• Food or chemical industry work experience preferred.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good computer skills including literacy with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Test syrup and water to ensure they meet KORE requirements.
• Understand mixing instructions and requirements.
• Inventory raw materials to prep for production.
• Evaluate sanitation effectiveness and respond to emerging deficiencies.
• Set up equipment in preparation for use by manually lifting and moving equipment and/or chemicals and/or concentrates.
• Assess and rectify problems on all equipment.
• Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures.
• Conduct product testing as required by KORE.
• Oversight of calibration program.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and processes.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
