Proper Beverage Company is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality and consistency of our canned beverages during the 2nd shift. You will conduct inspections, run tests, and help maintain high standards across production.

The role emphasizes meticulous documentation, effective communication with the production team, and timely reporting of deviations. This is a full-time position requiring attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior quality control experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience, food & beverage experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of quality control procedures and testing methods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and testing of canned beverage products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize testing equipment and tools to measure key product attributes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of quality control activities, test results, and inspections.
• Report any deviations from quality standards and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding quality control findings.
• Collect samples from production batches for further analysis.
• Perform sensory evaluations to assess taste, aroma, and overall product quality.
• Perform objective scientific evaluations using lab testing equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and report any equipment calibration needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
