Position Details

This is a position with grade 17. It reports to the Quality Control Specialist.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspect and troubleshoot defects or discrepancies to ensure conformity.
  2. Assist other QC Technicians, Operators, Wirers, and Assemblers with quality concerns.
  3. Perform inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and meters.
  4. Train other employees on quality procedures.
  5. Inspect, examine, and observe products or equipment for defects.
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency with computers, including MS Office applications and web tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
  • Skilled in using tools like screwdrivers, crimpers, and air guns.
  • Preferred experience with SAP, SupplierNet, Salesforce, Windchill, Fletch, BOX, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work with teams, coordinate rework activities, collaborate with suppliers, and facilitate return of materials (RMA).
  • At least 1 year of quality-related experience preferred.
  • Must have valid work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
