Job summary

The Olen Corporation in Upper Sandusky, OH is seeking a Quality Control Technician to test aggregates and ensure compliance with federal, state, and customer specifications.

You will sample, test, and analyze aggregates, maintain records, and report results to plant, sales, and government agencies, with occasional travel. This role requires attention to detail and familiarity with lab equipment, plus a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of aggregate quality control data.
• Experience with aggregate lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform aggregate sampling, testing, and analysis.
• Keep accurate records of testing results.
• Maintain laboratory and supplies; daily cleaning and upkeep.
• Complete governmental and customer reports for test results.
• Communicate testing results to the plant, sales personnel, construction personnel, and government agencies.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding discrepancies between test results and aggregate received.
• Other duties as assigned.
