Inspects and tests plastic components for dimensional accuracy and surface defects to verify conformance to company quality standards. Performs periodic audits to ensure that established in-process inspection procedures are effective and consistently followed. Records test data and written inspection reports via computer input and confers with production personnel to determine cause of deviations from standards. Provides support and oversight of the assembly and molding rework area.

One to three months of related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and speaking effectively before groups.
Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret data through graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various forms.
Regularly sit and use hands; occasionally stand, walk, reach; required vision abilities include close and color vision.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts; moderate noise level.
Must be a self-starter with good product knowledge, basic math skills, and visual-spatial awareness. Ability to handle multiple tasks, recognize visual details, and coordinate hand-eye movements is essential.
