PPG is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 3rd shift at our Springdale, PA plant. You will test raw materials and finished goods, reporting results to production and customers to ensure timely, accurate test data.

You will follow the Manager of Quality Services & Manufacturing Support, performing sample testing (viscosity, pH, density), calibration checks, and strict adherence to procedures and safety protocols to maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of quality control experience in chemical or coatings manufacturing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics and scientific principles required; college chemistry and math desired.

• Hand spray panels for defect analysis

As a Quality Control Technician (3rd Shift), you will work onsite in our Springdale, PA plant. You will test raw material and finish good properties of samples that come into QC Lab. You are responsible for property testing that is reported to production and to the customer. It is important for test results to be accurate and completed in the needed timeframe.
