Job summary

Corbion is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the Totowa, NJ plant. The 2nd shift role performs analytical testing, pre-operation and line audits, and ensures production procedures meet quality standards.

The position supports training of QC team members and requires strict adherence to GMP, FSMA and HACCP, plus routine equipment calibration and accurate documentation. An Associate’s Degree in a chemistry-related field and lab experience are preferred, with strong analytical, teamwork and

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, FSMA, HACCP and safety regulations.
• Ability to calibrate lab equipment and perform routine analyses.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing and line audits to ensure quality.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and verify scales and equipment calibration.
• Perform metal detector checks and ensure correct labeling and lot codes.
• Assist in training and developing QC team members.
• Document results and support root-cause analysis when issues arise.
