Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Associate Technician, Quality Control - Skilled in Cary, IL to support essential laboratory functions including cleaning glassware, restocking supplies, and assisting in routine analytical and microbial testing to ensure quality standards are met.

The role operates on 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and is onsite as a contract-to-hire position. Pay is $27.00 per hour, with eligibility for listed benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and practices.
• Knowledge of Chemistry and Microbiology.
• Familiarity with FDA, GMP, and GXP regulations.
• Strong understanding of Quality Control processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents and solutions used for routine and non-routine analyses, such as diluents and culture media.
• Perform pH analysis on reagents and solutions needed for routine testing.
• Conduct routine and non-routine sampling and processing of production lines for cleaning surveillance.
• Carry out laboratory maintenance activities, including equipment preventative maintenance, disposal of waste, and cleaning laboratory areas.
• Execute laboratory glassware cleaning and stocking activities.
• Order and log supplies and reagents.
• File and copy records for record retention.
• Perform other laboratory operations activities as needed.
