F.C. Dadson is a Retail and Commercial Casework manufacturer seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our Production team. We specialize in designing, engineering, fabricating, fulfilling, and installing retail environments, kiosks, and merchandising displays that meet our end user’s needs. F.C. Dadson is looking to hire confident, self-driven individuals that work well in a team environment and on individual projects. We are a small, family-owned company that values its people and the culture we’ve grown over the last 50+ years.

The role emphasizes quality and attention to detail through rigorous inspection, adherence to specifications, and proactive problem-solving while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escalate defective materials or any conditions that may indicate nonconformance.
  • Utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Verify measurements to ensure final products align with order specifications.
  • Apply total quality control principles by utilizing appropriate measurement and inspection tools to verify that parts meet required tolerances.
  • Perform quality control tests as required to verify product compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure the timely, accurate, and high-quality execution of production orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to established housekeeping and safety procedures.
  • Stage, scan, and verify the completeness and accuracy of orders prior to loading.
  • Accurately document all rejected materials, including findings from initial and post‑manufacturing inspections.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct detailed product inspections to ensure compliance with established quality specifications and standards.
  • Record inspection outcomes and maintain comprehensive, up‑to‑date quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with Production to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality‑related issues.
  • Train personnel on quality control procedures, measurement techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in cross‑functional teams to enhance overall product quality, operational efficiency, and process improvement initiatives.
