Job Title: Quality Control Technician


Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, with overtime schedule from 6:00am-4:30pm.


Location: Tulsa, OK



GENERAL SCOPE OF JOB


The Quality Control Technician will support all quality production processes, including pre- and post-production standard operating procedures. This role involves motivating, supporting, coaching, and supporting the efforts of the Production Team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals. The technician is responsible for ensuring safety policies are followed, products pass quality control tests, and lean tools and concepts are continuously deployed within their areas of responsibility.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Verify product quality and adherence to engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Collect and report all quality metrics using Microsoft Forms.
  • Communicate defects found during QC inspections to operations team members.
  • Perform layered audits and sign off on critical-to-quality projects.
  • Use QC stamps and provide quality approval appropriately.
  • Participate in weekly Quality Team meetings.
  • Conduct root cause investigations.
  • Inspect incoming products and end-of-line products.
  • Assist in team training.
  • Sustain 5S and safety standards, and eliminate waste within the department.
  • Maintain and improve a positive work culture.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE


  • High School Diploma.
  • Previous quality experience preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

COMPETENCIES


  • Strong communication skills, ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
  • Quick learner with training abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and proactive work approach.
  • Proficient PC skills; familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Customer service orientation, ability to work under pressure.
  • Dependable, accountable, fair, and consistent.
  • Knowledge of team communication and email usage.
  • Ability to use programming software such as Microchip Studio, Smart System, Pro12Z programmer, IM-pack, SPM Super-Pro for Windows.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


The work environment includes both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas. Personal Protective Equipment is required in designated areas.


Note: Responsibilities may be reassigned as needed.
