Job summary

Rinker Materials seeks a Quality Control Technician to oversee QC across production, ensuring conformance to drawings and ASTM specs. You will verify dimensions, perform audits, and liaise with external inspectors, driving quality improvements and training staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years manufacturing experience; QC experience preferred.
• Ability to read/shop drawings and ASTM specifications.
• Ability to interpret measurements from micrometers, calipers, and other QC tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Quality control in all production phases using established procedures and equipment.
• Read and verify dimensions from shop drawings and specs.
• Perform internal audits and maintain QC inspection records.
• Serve as liaison to outside inspectors.
• Resolve quality issues from production/fabrication errors.
• Inspect finished goods loads prior to plant departure.
• Coach and train team on quality requirements.

About The Role

• Responsible for quality control in all phases of production utilizing established procedures, quality control manuals, and equipment
