Job summary

Wilson Connectivity is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished goods against BOMs and CAD specifications. The role requires reading CAD drawings, understanding PSCD and ECR content, and using QC tools including calipers and functional testers.

You will support changeovers and FAI processes, ensuring non-conforming items are segregated and documented. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience, and

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Completed basic trainings of Dynamics, PLM system, ESD controls, 5S.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies and finished goods per BOM, specs/CAD drawings, SWI, IPC, PSCD, etc.
  • Read, interpret and understand CAD drawings/specifications, BOM, SWI, ECR content, PSCD.
  • Use QC inspection tools such as calipers, inspection templates and functional testers (power supply, antenna, cable tester).
  • Understand and apply AQL sampling tables for quality control.
  • Create and validate Quality Orders and Non-conformance Issuance; segregate nonconforming materials/products.
  • Perform Change Over checks with Production Line Leaders and First Article Inspections (FAI).

Position Overview:
  • Inspect Incoming materials, in-process assemblies and finish goods in compliance BOM,Specs/CAD drawings, SWI, Internal Quality Standard, IPC,PSCD etc.
  • Able to read, interpret & understand CAD drawing/Specification, BOM, SWI, ECR content, PSCD (Product Specific Cosmetic Criteria)
  • Knows how to use QC Inspection tools e.g. Calipers, Inspection templates and Functional testers e.g. power supply, antenna, cable tester etc.
  • Knowledge & understanding of how to use and interpret AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) Sampling Table.
  • Create and validate Quality Order, Non-conformance Issuance, Segregate nonconforming materials/product.
  • Perform Change Over Check w/ Production Line Leaders
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) – both Raw and Finish goods
Educations/Certifications/Experiences:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, gages etc.)
  • Completed basic trainings of Dynamics, PLM system, ESD controls, 5S
Physical requirements:

Able to constantly move about the facility. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. at any given time. Could be on your feet up to 8 hours a day.
