Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform in-process and final quality inspections, prepare production paperwork, and audit the production line in an FDA-regulated environment. You will ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, OSHA, and other requirements, maintain quality documentation, and collaborate with the team to achieve quality goals.

A high school diploma is required; coursework in hard sciences is preferred, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Word

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College level coursework in a hard science preferred.
• Knowledge of chemical terminology and units of measure preferred.
• Experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to follow written and oral direction.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.

OBJECTIVE

The Quality Control Technician performs quality inspection, product testing, materials inspection, preparation of production paperwork, preparation of products for shipment, quality documentation, and production line audits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform in-process and final quality inspections of product.
• Prepare production paperwork in accordance with SOPs and WIs.
• Prepare quality documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for all products.
• Audit the Production line.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, ISO, OSHA and all other regulatory requirements, in accordance with company policy.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College level coursework in a hard science preferred
• Knowledge of chemical terminology and units of measure, preferred
• Experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment preferred

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
