Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of chemistry and mathematics required.
• Must be able and willing to work a rotating 12-hour schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime, and callouts.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety policies and safe work practices.
• Deliver quality work in a timely fashion with minimal rework.
• Perform repetitive tasks accurately under strict timelines.
• Document test results exactly and accurately.
• Identify known patterns hidden in extraneous data as well as be able to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
• Interpret and follow instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Interact and communicate effectively with other employees.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job description

We are looking for a QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN to join our Harleyville, SC plant. As a Quality Control Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for providing sampling and standardized testing to ensure raw materials and manufactured products meet quality standards, while documenting and communicating these results accurately. The position will provide general support to the quality department and may work with other departments as assigned.
