Aptiv Interconnect in Peabody, MA is seeking a Quality Control Technician. You will perform quality inspections across incoming, in-process and final stages in RF/microwave manufacturing, ensuring high reliability in critical applications.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, using precision tools, and conducting ATPs with network analyzers to uphold strict quality standards. You will collaborate with the Quality team to resolve issues and improve processes.

Formación

• 2-4 years of experience in RF inspection.
• Able to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience using VNAs to measure S-parameters, impedance and return loss.
• Familiar with IPC 620 and J-STD-001 quality standards.
• Capable of documenting ATPs and FAI reports with supporting evidence.

Summary:

As our Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality control inspections, checks and tests at all stages of the manufacture of products including incoming, raw materials, in process and final inspection. Ensuring high-quality products in RF and microwave applications, where performance and reliability are paramount, requires a meticulous approach. In this role, your work will directly affect the reliability of products used in critical applications.

Leadership & Core Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control inspections on RF and microwave components
• Interpret technical drawings, understand and apply tolerance requirements
• Utilize verniers, height gauges, calipers and microscopes
• Test assemblies using network analyzers
• Complete acceptance test procedures (ATPs) accurately
• Support the team in resolving product issues to maintain high quality standards
• Communicate product issues promptly to team members and management
• Develop foundational knowledge of all products
• Understand the functionality of tools required to perform the job
• Ensure quality by following all applicable policies and procedures
• Demonstrate work habits that maximize productivity and performance

Position Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in RF inspection
• Must be able to pass a drug screening test
• Familiar with IPC 620 and J-STD-001
• Accurately read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics to ensure precise assembly and manufacturing of components
• Utilize Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) to measure and analyze S-parameters, impedance, and return loss for RF components
• Perform visual, functional, and environment-specific ATP testing
• Perform detailed data verification on FAI reports, ensuring all "ballooned" print dimensions, material certifications, and special processes are fully validated with supporting objective evidence

• Base Salary Range: $26.00 per hour
