Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure quality across all production phases. You will follow established procedures, read shop drawings and verify dimensions, and maintain QA records. You will also coordinate with inspectors and coach team members on quality standards.

This role emphasizes hands-on inspection of finished goods, corrective actions, and adherence to ASTM specifications. A manufacturing background and strong communication skills are required to succeed in our

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
  • 2+ years manufacturing experience, QC preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret shop drawings and ASTM specs.
  • Able to read measurements from micrometers and calipers.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quality control in all production phases using established procedures, manuals, and equipment.
  • Read and understand shop fabrication drawings and specs; verify dimensions.
  • Perform internal audits and maintain QC inspection records.
  • Serve as liaison to outside inspectors.
  • Resolve quality issues from production and fabrication errors.
  • Inspect finished goods loads prior to plant departure.
  • Coach and train team on quality requirements.

About the Role:
  • Responsible for quality control in all phases of production utilizing established procedures, quality control manuals, and equipment
  • Read and understand shop fabrication drawings and specs and verify dimensions of product or material

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years manufacturing experience. Prior QC experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) specifications.
  • Ability to interpret readings from Micrometers, Calipers, and other QC tools.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
