Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Mona, UT. You will ensure quality control of batching, mixing, and delivering ready-mixed concrete that meets project specs and customer expectations.

Travel may be required to monitor quality standards and perform testing across sites. Responsibilities include performing QC tests, calibrating equipment, sampling materials, recording results, and communicating findings to dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of QC experience within construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC tests (air content, slump/workability, coarseness/sandiness, yield, set time, water-cement ratio, strength).
• Calibrate production and testing equipment.
• Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance.
• Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers.
• Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete to identify quality issues.
