Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector/Technician in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with CMM operation and programming (Keyence preferred).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and inspection techniques.
• Proficiency with standard inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program Keyence CCMs to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measurement tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings to ensure specifications.
• Document and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis.
• Conduct quality audits and ensure AS9100 compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and develop quality procedures.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

MET is a full-service contract manufacturer specializing in precision fabrication using photochemical etching, waterjet cutting, and other value-added fabrication processes. Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and program Keyence CCMs to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, microscopes, and Keyence IMs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Document and report non-conformances, assist in root cause analysis, and work with production to implement corrective actions.
• Conduct quality audits and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in developing quality control procedures.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
• Must be able to work on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
