We are seeking a technical professional to join our team in a quality control support role within the nuclear power industry.

Role summary / purpose

Under direct to limited guidance, this position is responsible for applying diversified technical knowledge and practices to broad assignments across multiple fields. The role involves assisting with quality control inspection and material testing operations while independently evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist quality control inspectors in the testing of materials needed to operate nuclear power facilities
  • Plan and develop technical projects using advanced techniques
  • Explore subject areas, define scope, and select areas for investigation with minimal supervision
  • Apply diversified technical knowledge to a broad variety of assignments across multiple fields
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
  • Modify theories and practices within the field as needed for specific assignments

Requirements - education & experience

  • Associate degree in electrical/electronics or equivalent work experience required
  • 0 - 5 years of experience applying diversified knowledge of technical principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments

Required skills

  • Basic understanding of test equipment and uses
  • Knowledge of technical principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

Nice-to-have / preferred skills
