Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our premier manufacturing client in Irving, TX. The role offers a first shift with a paid hourly rate of 22.78. You will perform testing, document results, and ensure products meet established specifications.

You will troubleshoot issues, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex tests and analyses to ensure products meet specifications.
• Record inspection results, including acceptance, rejection, and disposition.
• Enter data into log books or computer databases for traceability.
• Carry out scheduled calibration and maintenance on testing equipment.
• Conduct product and customer quality testing as required.
• Implement revisions to test equipment, procedures, and methods.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and other teams to develop corrective actions.

What’s a typical day as - Quality Control (QC) Inspector? You’ll be:

• Performing moderately complex tests and analyses to ensure products meet established specifications.
• Carrying out calculations and preparing documentation for test results.
• Completing records of inspection results, including acceptance, rejection, and disposition.
• Entering data into log books or computer databases.
• Conducting scheduled calibration and maintenance on testing equipment.
• Performing specialized product and customer quality testing.
• Implementing revisions, corrections, and changes to test equipment, procedures, and methods.
• Troubleshooting defective products returned by customers to determine root causes of failure.
• Participating in discussions with quality, engineering, and other relevant departments to develop corrective actions for recurring problems.
