Company Profile

Package Pavement Company was founded in 1951 as a manufacturer of bagged blacktop. Our founder, Walter G. Doherty, aimed to help homeowners make simple repairs to their blacktop driveways and paths. He developed an innovative patching material that was soft and easy to handle until compacted and exposed to air. Over the years, the company grew, involving family in bagging and delivery to hardware stores and utility companies. For over 50 years, contractors, utilities, towns, and cities across the northeast have relied on our blacktop for patching needs.

As our customer base expanded, we developed new products for DIY consumers and contractors, including asphalt plugs for utility repairs, licensed manufacturing of QUIKRETE products, and licensing of Spec Mix for custom construction solutions.

Our dedicated staff, some with over 25 years of experience, strive to provide consistent, high-quality products that promote safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. We operate from our Ravena, NY site, maintaining a family-owned ethos across three generations. We are committed to producing the highest quality materials and exceeding customer expectations.
