Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control or product testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Ability to follow quality standards, testing procedures, and work instructions.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Stable employment history—no significant job-hopping within the last 5–6 years.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift.

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dependable Quality Control Technician in Locust Grove, GA. In this fast-paced and detail-oriented role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing products in a high-volume manufacturing environment to ensure they meet established quality standards.

In a Quality Control Technician job, you’ll be responsible for:

• Performing routine quality inspections and product testing in a manufacturing environment
• Inspecting finished products and materials to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Identifying defects, inconsistencies, or other quality concerns during the production process
• Documenting inspection and testing results accurately
• Reporting product defects or quality issues to supervisors and production team members
• Following established quality control procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area in accordance with company standards

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in Quality Control, product testing, or a similar manufacturing position
• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Ability to follow quality standards, testing procedures, and work instructions
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Stable employment history required — candidates should have no significant job-hopping within the last 5–6 years
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift
