Swagelok is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction through inspections and validation of conformance to engineering requirements. The Quality Control Technician plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction by performing inspections, validating conformance to engineering and customer requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for incoming, in-process, and final inspections; quality documentation and traceability; nonconformance management; and maintaining compliance with internal quality systems and ISO standards.
The role partners closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and other cross‑functional teams to resolve quality-related issues, support corrective actions, and ensure products consistently meet Swagelok’s premium quality expectations. The Quality Control Technician also contributes to document control, FAIR submissions, customer quality requirements, and continuous improvement efforts while promoting accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Successful individuals in this role demonstrate strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, disciplined problem‑solving skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and inspection requirements. As proficiency increases, the position expands in scope to include advanced inspection activities, audit participation, mentoring, process improvement leadership, and broader ownership of quality system initiatives.
This position follows an on‑site work schedule, with regular on‑site attendance required Monday through Friday. Based on business and operational needs, the position may require overtime, schedule adjustments, or occasional shift variations.
