Job summary

Insight Global is seeking four QC Technicians to support the Chemistry Quality Control laboratory during off-shift operations, primarily performing UV-Vis testing along with routine chemistry and utility testing as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Chemistry or Biology graduates or lab professionals looking to gain experience in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Chemistry/Biology or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Basic laboratory experience through industry, internships, academic coursework, or research.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently during off-shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform UV-Vis testing and routine chemistry analyses in a GMP pharmaceutical QC lab.
• Support TOC, conductivity and other utility testing as needed.
• Follow SOPs, document results accurately, and maintain clean lab practices.
• Work nights and weekends after onboarding and training period.

Job description

Our client is seeking four QC Technicians to support the Chemistry Quality Control laboratory during off-shift operations. These individuals will primarily perform UV-Vis testing while supporting additional routine chemistry and utility testing activities as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Chemistry or Biology graduates or laboratory professionals looking to build experience within a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Candidates should be motivated, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently during nights and weekends after completing an initial onboarding and training period.

Schedule:

Initial onboarding and training will occur Monday–Friday during standard business hours (approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM).

After training, the regular schedule will be:

• Wed-Sat Four 10-hour night shifts


• Shift: 10pm-830AM

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another scientific discipline OR equivalent laboratory experience.


• Basic laboratory experience through industry, internships, academic coursework, or research.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently during off-shift operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Recent Chemistry or Biology graduate seeking to begin a career in pharmaceutical Quality Control.


• Laboratory professional with foundational chemistry testing experience.


• Strong communicator who is dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn.


• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and independently while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance.

Plusses:

• Experience with UV-Vis spectroscopy or UV-Visible spectrophotometers.


• Experience working in a Quality Control laboratory.


• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).


• Experience performing TOC or conductivity testing.


• Previous GMP pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or regulated laboratory experience
