Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking a Quality Control Technician to conduct standard QC testing on materials and finished goods at our Compton, CA facility. You will document results, locate applicable methods, and ensure accurate data entry into the SAP system.

The role requires 1+ years in quality control, an associate degree, and solid teamwork skills. Proficiency in MS Office and lab equipment use is essential for daily activities and collaboration with the quality team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' labor or technical experience.
• Associate degree.
• Experience in Quality Control preferred.
• Background in materials testing (viscosity testing, melting point testing) and general lab testing.
• Knowledgeable in the use of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Computer literate – MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard quality control testing on incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods according to specifications.
• Accurately calculate and report test results. Locate test methods, SOPs, and work instructions in the document management system.
• Record test data into the SAP database.
• File and maintain the retain samples; dispose of old retain samples per retention protocols.
• Maintain clean working environment including lab benches, retain sample room, ovens and hood. Participate in Quality Lab 5S activities.
• Actively participate in daily Quality Lab / department (MOS) meetings.
