Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our Cape Coral, FL manufacturing team. The role involves testing concrete products, inspecting pours, and supporting production in a dynamic indoor/outdoor environment.

You will perform daily strength tests, fabricate material samples, and report quality concerns to management. A high school diploma and QC experience are required; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI / PCI Certification preferred, or pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team.
• Lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Fabricate Concrete Plastic Property Samples.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
